Path of Hope Gala 2022

By 21/05/2022News

Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill have been the proud major sponsors of the Path of Hope Gala since inception in 2016. Now, in its seventh year, Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill were delighted to return as major sponsors at Path of Hope’s Four Seasons themed Gala held at the Crown Towers Perth on May 21st.

Path of Hope was launched in 2013, as a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Perth and the Salvation Army, with a vision to break the intergenerational cycle of family and domestic violence. The foundation raises funds for The Salvation Army to provide immediate support and refuge for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence, by providing any resources and assistance necessary. Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill’s support follows Executive Chairman Mrs. Gina Rinehart’s earlier support of other initiatives to help actions against domestic violence.

This year, Mrs. Rinehart was presented the John Garland AM Award, an award which is presented to an individual who consistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion and an enthusiasm to assist others, and who are instrumental in Path of Hope’s mission to break the intergenerational cycle of family violence.

As always the Hancock Prospecting Group wishes Path of Hope all the best with their ongoing endeavours to help break the unacceptable cycle of domestic violence, and to celebrate the survivors of domestic violence.
