Ongoing Scam Warning

Hancock Prospecting is aware of numerous fraudulent online advertisements, fake accounts and other scam content using  images, videos or likenesses of our executive chairman Mrs Gina Rinehart to promote products, financial services and purported investment opportunities.

These are scams. Mrs Rinehart does not endorse or promote investment opportunities, financial services or other products through social media advertisements or online platforms.

Members of the public should not click on links, transfer money, provide personal or financial information, or otherwise engage with these scams .

Hancock Prospecting has identified and reported thousands of fraudulent advertisements, fake accounts and other scam content over years and continues to monitor online platforms for impersonation and fraudulent activity.

Given the scale of online scam activity, it is not possible for us to identify every fraudulent advertisement or account. We therefore encourage members of the public who encounter this content to report it promptly through the online platform and bring it to our attention by emailing [email protected]

These scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated and realistic. Prompt reporting can assist  in removing fraudulent content and help protect others from financial loss or other harm.
