2018’s Forbes CEO Global Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand on the 30th and 31st October, with conference speakers and key executives gathering for a pre session on the 29th. Now in its 18th year, this prestigious event is attended by over 400 business people globally – entrepreneurs, CEO’s, multi billionaires and thought leaders to discuss key issues. This year, “the world reboots.”
Mrs Gina Rinehart was again invited to attend the Conference to share her thoughts on these global issues. Speakers included the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Thailand, who is also the Commerce, Industry and Tourism minister, His Excellency, Somkid Jatusripitak.
Her friend Bill Heinecke, Chairman and CEO of Minor International, who has just completed a multi-billion euro takeover of the NH Hotels worldwide; Steve Forbes, CEO of Forbes; Chartsiri Sophonpanich, President of the Bangkok Bank, Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore airlines (rated as the world’s number one airline) and Enrique Razon, Chairman and President, International Container Services Inc. were all in attendance.
Mrs. Rinehart says, there are many conferences, but the Forbes CEO Conference, which attracts entrepreneurs and leaders of industry, is one she always tries to attend.
