Swimming WA – WestSwim Lakelands

Swimming WA opened the doors to its first purpose built learn to swim facility, WestSwim Lakelands, this morning in Mandurah. The centre will offer learn to swim opportunities for children 3 months and older, as well as individual and group classes for adults, and in term classes for schools in the area. The centre has been designed as a family friendly environment, catered towards families in the area. It is the first of its kind for Swimming WA.

Mrs. Rinehart, Patron of Swimming WA, after speeches from all three levels of government, including local federal member, Andrew Hastie MP, formally opened the centre at 8.30 am, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. A public open day for the community followed.
