Swimming at SPW Aquatic Centre

On Saturday 11 May, you can experience an exciting and rare opportunity to join Dean Boxall and his elite high-performance squad for their final training session before they depart for the 2024 Paris Olympics swimming trials.

This unique event with a Paris Olympics theme grants access to the normally private SPW aquatic center, allowing spectators to witness Dean and his team as they complete the last phase of their preparations for the Olympic trials. Positioned near the poolside, attendees will observe SPW’s Olympic and World Champions fully geared up and engaged in intense race simulations, providing an immersive experience with the palpable energy of the Olympic pool atmosphere right here in Brisbane.

The entire squad, including Aussie superstars such as Mollie O’ Callaghan, Mitch Larkin, Ariarne Titmus, Kai Taylor and others, will be present.

Gates open promptly at 6 am with spectators required to be seated by 6:25 am. Dean will commence the simulated Paris racing at 7.oo am, with the session expected to last approximately 2 hours.

Swimmers Patron Mrs. Gina Rinehart AO will proudly be poolside, cheering on our swimmers, and wishes them all the very best for the exciting lead up to Paris!
