Sky News Extra – ABC funding and accountability questioned after fresh controversy

Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs Daniel Wild criticised the ABC, saying its latest controversy comes soon after the broadcaster was forced to apologise over its Gina Rinehart segment. He argued the ABC receives more than $1.2 billion in taxpayer funding each year and should be held accountable by the government if it fails to meet its charter responsibilities.
