Hancock Iron Ore: McPhee Creek First Ore

We are delighted to receive first ore from our newest Pilbara mine, McPhee Creek.

It marks the first time ore from another orebody has been integrated into the Roy Hill system, unlocking new opportunities to blend product, sustain production, and extend the life of the Roy Hill mega mine and leverage our world-class infrastructure.

Achievements like this don’t come easy. In an environment of complex approvals and regulatory hurdles, this milestone reflects the drive, persistence and long-term vision of Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, who continues to invest in Australian resources, regional jobs, and national prosperity.

As Mrs Rinehart says: “when mining does well, so do Australians, but, when mining doesn’t do well, nor do Australians”.

Thanks to HanRoy, whose project management expertise and discipline have been instrumental in safely delivering and commissioning McPhee on schedule.
