Congratulations to the women’s 4 x 100m relay team

What a wonderful effort by the Australian women’s 4 x 100m relay team who won gold and set a world record time of 3.30.65.

A big well done to Cate and Bronte Campbell, Emma McKeon and Brittany Elmslie!

Not only did the relay team win gold and break the world record but prior to the final race they also broke the Olympic record in one of the qualifying heats.

I am so proud of these girls – what great Olympians!
