Celebrating the 2026 Swimming WA Awards of Excellence

Hancock Prospecting was proud to support the 2026 Swimming WA Awards of Excellence, an evening recognising the achievements of West Australia’s swimmers and the many people who help them succeed. From young athletes finding their feet in the sport to swimmers representing Australia on the world stage, each achievement is backed by years of dedication, early mornings, and hard work.

We extend special congratulations to Iona Anderson and Inez Miller, the joint winners of this year’s Swimming WA Patron’s Trophy. Both have represented WA and our country with pride, and their performances on the international stage are an inspiration to younger swimmers coming through the ranks. It is wonderful to see their hard work and international performances recognised with an award from our Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, the Patron of Swimming WA.

Mrs Rinehart and Hancock Prospecting have stood behind WA swimming for more than three decades. Mrs Rinehart’s support began here in WA and has grown alongside generations of swimmers, from those taking their first steps at club level to athletes competing for Australia. Her longstanding commitment to the swimmers was recognised with Life Membership of Swimming WA.

Congratulations to every award recipient and finalist. Your achievements give West Australians much to celebrate, and we look forward to seeing where your hard work takes you next. Our thanks also go to the families, coaches and volunteers whose encouragement and commitment make this possible.
