Corporate Regatta | Team Roy Hill
It was an oar-inspiring effort from our Roy Hill rowing crews at today’s Rowing WA Corporate Rowing Regatta. The coxed four stormed home for the win in their division, while in the coxed eights, Roy Hill took out 2nd and 3rd. The team was thrilled to have our Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, cheering them on. Patron for the Australian Rowing Team, Mrs Rinehart’s dedication to the sport and her unwavering support for our athletes is truly inspiring. Her presence today is a testament to her commitment to our staff, athletes and the sport of rowing. The Roy Hill team proudly wore the colours of our charity partners and even Fat Cat got into the action!
Family-friendly fun in the City of Light this summer
Having played a significant role in the 2023 City of Lights series, Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill has stepped up again thanks to the generosity and keen support of Executive Chairman, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, partnering on two of the City’s most popular events.“I am delighted that Hancock Prospecting has once again agreed to come on board as a naming right partner for this event.” The Hancock Prospecting City of Light Show will take place on 26 January 2024 at Langley Park in the City. Mr Zempilas said the City was also pleased to have Roy Hill as a presenting partner for its New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Hancock Prospecting propels Rowing Australia towards LA 2028
Rowing Australia is excited to announce that Hancock Prospecting, Australia’s leading mining and agricultural company, will back Australia’s rowers in their journey to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games after renewing its Major Partnership with the sport. Rowing Australia Chief Executive Officer Sarah Cook OLY said the commitment would set rowing up for more success and give the sport the confidence to plan for a new era of growth and top-notch performance. “This is another example of the game-changing support Mrs Rinehart AO shows to Australian sport,” Cook said. “The sky is the limit for Rowing Australia with Hancock Prospecting powering us through another Olympic cycle.”
Gina Rinehart’s $3m Patron’s Medal Achievement Incentive Fund

Gina Rinehart’s $3m Patron’s medal achievement incentive fund
The Patron’s Medal Achievement Incentive Fund, powered by Hancock Prospecting, initially commits $3m over two years in the lead up to and at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will provide performance-based payments to the country’s best swimmers, rowers, volleyball players and artistic swimmers should they win medals at a World Championship, and Olympic or Paralympic Games and is the only private performance initiative of its scale to benefit Australian Olympic and Paralympic sport medal achievers, outside Government and Australian Olympic Committee funding.
