Mrs Gina Rinehart thanks long-serving Hancock Iron Ore staff
It was a pleasure to visit long-serving staff members of our company, who have each contributed 10 years or more of service to Hancock Iron Ore, and to have our photo taken together with an RFDS aircraft in the background.
The RFDS plane behind us is a fitting reminder of the importance of service, commitment and supporting our country areas. An RFDS aircraft bearing our company’s name had just taken off to transport a patient to Perth, in need of more medical attention.
Thank you to each of you for giving 10+ years to Roy Hill/Hancock Iron Ore. It was very special to hear what you thought on your years with us, and your different highlights. Including ones we had shared together, from the earliest days at HPPL when such a small company, to first train, National Mining Day, first shipload, and more. Your loyalty and contribution over so many years is greatly appreciated, and I hope are years you can all be very proud of.
With my very best wishes and thanks to you all.
All best,
Gina Rinehart Executive Chairman, Hancock Iron Ore
